The Amenities

COOPER SPUR MOUNTAIN RESORT offers an amazing array of amenities to enhance our visitor's stay.

The Spas
Cooper Spur Mountain Resort has a spa deck with three therapeutic hot tubs (massages can be arranged for groups in advance). There is also a picnic area with a barbecue grill and tennis court.

Nordic Center & Cross Country Ski Area
In the winter, we offer a Nordic Center (open daily) with groomed trails and access to back country and Mt. Hood National Forest trail trekking.

Cooper Spur Ski Area
The Ski Area at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort offers skiing and snowboarding, instruction, cross country skiing and a tubing center. The Ski Area features a double chair lift and three rope tows servicing ten runs with night lighting.

The Expedition Lounge
The Expedition Lounge is a comfortable gathering place for socializing and storytelling. The walls are appointed with historic photographs and descriptions, a tribute to the early pioneers who explored and settled the area more than a century ago. Open Wednesday through Sunday at 4:30 PM and for groups on a resevation basis.

Mt. Hood National Forest
The resort is located on 775 acres of forest land adjacent to the Mt. Hood National Forest, with access to nearby hiking and biking trails, and cross country skiing in the winter.

Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort
COOPER SPUR MOUNTAIN RESORT is just minutes away from Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort, and is situated at the entrance road to Cooper Spur Ski and Recreation Area. The Inn at Cooper Spur provides winter recreation enthusiasts the perfect respite for relaxing and rejuvenating after a day on the slopes, in the woods or on the trails. Guests may purchase $25 discounted lift tickets to Mt. Hood Meadows - which is an amazing value - it is a day/night ticket valued at $49. Cooper Spur offers skiing, snowboarding and innertubing.

Hood River
HOOD RIVER HAS BECOME the windsurfing capital of the world. The Columbia Gorge is just 23 miles north of the resort. Enjoy windsurfing, white water rafting and mountain biking in the summer.

GOLF
Take advantage of the fine golf courses in the area. Hood River Country Club and Indian Creek Country Club are just 25 miles north of the Inn at Cooper Spur, and the 27-hole Rippling River Golf Course is 35 miles west.

Fishing & Hunting
The many lakes and streams within a few miles make the area a dream come true for the trout and steelhead fisherman. For the hunter, there is "in season" elk, deer and bear hunting in the wilderness area bordering the Inn at Cooper Spur.
