Hood River

Hood River may be the most scenically blessed and recreationally diverse town in Oregon, if not in the United States.

The Columbia River Gorge is scenically breath taking, but it also serves those who want to play with wind and water for world class wind surfing, kite boarding and kayaking.

Mt. Hood nourishes the orchards and farmland with run off, but also presents incredible skiing and snowboarding on her slopes in the winter, as well as miles of forested trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.

No wonder so many people who come here to visit, end up staying.
