Spring - Summer – Fall

Mt. Hood, the Hood River Valley, and the Columbia River Gorge provide an endless variety of outdoor pursuits and scenic touring. Cooper Spur Mountain Resort is a great place to begin your tour by car, motorcycle or bicycle – or on foot. There are roads and trails for all. The scenery is spectacular, the roadways smooth, the climbs challenging and the descents thrilling.

Relax at the end of your day with your favorite beverage and a “Farm to Table” meal in the Crooked Tree Tavern & Grill. Then renew your spirit as you breathe in the fresh mountain air and watch the heavens unfold in the night skies.

Surrounded by orchards and wineries, Indian Creek Golf Course was awarded 4-Stars from Golf Digest. The Hood River Golf and Country Club was established in 1923 and includes a tasting room for local wines in the clubhouse.


Hood River, the Columbia River Gorge and White Salmon on the Washington side, have become a mecca for water sports like Windsurfing, White Water Rafting, Kayaking (white water and flat), Canoeing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) and Fishing. Winter

The Cooper Spur Ski Area and Tubing Center offers fun and excitement for young families and beginning skiers. You’ll also find Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing at the Cooper Spur Mountain Resort Nordic Center, open daily in the winter.
